Late Night Doodling
While we had guests over, I managed to make some time to draw while they watched “The Room”. Have you seen the movie “The Room”? I hadn’t seen it until it was shown to me 2 weeks ago with Rifftrax. It’s pretty awful. Even though the Rifftrax made it amusing to watch, I could not watch it again in such a brief time span. So, I doodled at 1am instead.
OH HAI, DOODLE.
I don’t claim this is great, but it was a better use of my time than watching Tommy Wiseau again. These are not my best bats, but that’s okay.

Thanks, Crys. It’s funny, I have an art folder on my hard drive with scans from early high school, and every once in a while, I will scroll to the bottom and look at the things I was drawing back then. Even though I often feel like my art has stagnated, seeing stuff from way back then is uplifting. It’s like, “oh, wow. I used to think THAT was good? Well, I’m glad to see I’ve grown since then”. I’m glad it’s not just apparent to me as well.
