Skullies: A Digital Painting

I got this image in my head one night last week and then decided to draw it in Photoshop. I’m trying to develop a painterly style. It’s fun. I’m also going to try to save some money for a new Wacom Cintiq tablet. My Intuos 3 is still working great, but my puppy chewed the pen to bits a few months ago so it looks… not good. Ben managed to get it working again, although the eraser end no longer works. I do think it would be fun to try the new type of tablets where you actually draw on the screen itself. It seems more intuitive.
